MILTON — A single-vehicle crash on Interstate 89 south left the car totaled and resulted in minor injuries for one occupant on Feb. 10.
Vermont State Police said the accident occurred at approximately 6:36 p.m. near mile marker 102.3.
Operator Hallie Paquette, 20, of Rutland, was driving a 2024 Honda CRV when she reportedly lost control of the vehicle while navigating a slight left-hand corner.
The Honda CRV traveled off the pavement and rolled, causing extensive damage.
Paquette, who was wearing a seatbelt, sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported to UVM Medical Center.
Three passengers were in the car at the time of the crash, including Melody Henry, 21, also from Rutland, who was not wearing a seatbelt.
Two juveniles from Rutland and East Montpelier, ages 18 and 13 respectively, were wearing seatbelts.
None of the passengers reported injuries.
Milton and Colchester Rescue evaluated all occupants at the scene.
