SHARON — Vermont State Police arrested 23-year-old Micah Avery Benoit of Royalton on charges of violating an abuse prevention order and his conditions of release.
Authorities responded to the incident on Feb. 9 at 9:18 p.m. in Sharon after receiving a report of a violation.
The investigation concluded that Benoit had breached the terms of an Abuse Prevention Order as well as his court-mandated conditions of release.
Following his arrest, Benoit was processed at the Royalton Barracks.
He has been released with conditions and is scheduled to appear before the Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division, on Feb. 12 at 12:30 p.m. to respond to the charges.
