COLCHESTER — Vermont State Police arrested a Burlington man early Tuesday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 89.
At approximately 8:56 a.m., authorities responded to reports of an accident near mile marker 96 on I-89 southbound in Colchester.
The driver, identified as 54-year-old Matthew Morgan, exhibited signs of impairment during the investigation at the scene.
Following the crash, Morgan was taken into custody and charged with DUI refusal.
He was later released with a citation to appear in Chittenden County Superior Court to face the charges.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
