FOXBOROUGH — Massachusetts State Police are calling for witnesses and video evidence following the deadly shooting of a motorist on Route 95 south near Foxborough Saturday night.

Justin Parker, 37, of North Attleborough, was fatally shot while driving his black 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan southbound, just before 10 p.m. near Exit 17 on Feb. 3.

After being struck by gunfire, Parker’s vehicle collided with a Lexus SUV carrying a family and then hit a guardrail before coming to a halt on the highway.

State Police patrols from the Foxboro Barracks responded to the scene and discovered Parker in his car with a gunshot wound.

He was rushed to Sturdy Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The investigation has revealed that multiple shots were fired at Parker’s car from a black or dark-colored sedan, which continued to travel south after the incident.

Authorities are now reaching out to the public for assistance, specifically asking for any observations or dashcam footage from drivers who were on Route 95 south from Waltham to the Rhode Island border or on Route 3/93 from Boston or Weymouth towards Route 95 south between 9 and 10 p.m. on Saturday.

State Police detectives are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident, noticed a dark-colored car driving erratically or at high speeds, or captured relevant video footage in the mentioned areas to come forward.

Information or video can be shared with the State Police Detective Unit for Norfolk County by calling 781-327-9801.

The Lexus SUV involved in the aftermath veered off into the woods, but its occupants did not sustain serious injuries.
