ST. JOHNSBURY — Troopers with the Vermont State Police, St. Johnsbury Barracks, apprehended 33-year-old Kathleen Hale of Barnet on an active arrest warrant during a traffic stop on New Boston Rd. late Saturday night.
The arrest occurred at approximately 11:06 p.m. when Hale was pulled over for an undisclosed motor vehicle violation.
Upon identification, authorities discovered Hale was wanted out of Caledonia County for multiple charges related to cruelty to animals.
Hale was taken into custody without incident and subsequently lodged at the Northeast Correctional Complex.
The Vermont State Police did not release further details regarding the circumstances of the initial warrant or the specifics of the animal cruelty charges.
