POWNAL — A New York man was accused Friday of luring a child and sending indecent material to a minor, Vermont State Police reported.
Richard H. Wulff, 35, of Cambridge, New York, faces charges stemming from an investigation that began on July 22, 2022, when the Vermont State Police – Bureau of Criminal Investigation Unit was alerted to the case.
Authorities developed probable cause to charge Wulff with the offenses.
Judge McDonald-Cady set conditions for Wulff’s release and scheduled him to appear at the Vermont Superior Court – Bennington Criminal Division on Feb. 1, at 12:30 p.m.
Wulff was released on his own recognizance.
The investigation drew support from the New York State Police and Kentucky State Police.
As per policy, the Vermont State Police did not release any information about the victim.
