MANCHESTER — Two individuals have been arrested following a shooting incident that occurred in the early morning hours of Jan. 25.

Manchester Police were alerted to the incident at around 1:30 a.m. by a ShotSpotter activation near the intersection of Blaine and Cleveland streets.

Officers who responded to the scene discovered shell casings on the sidewalk outside 183 Blaine St.

Shortly thereafter, a 23-year-old Derry man arrived at Catholic Medical Center with a chest wound from a gunshot.

Investigation revealed that the victim had been engaged in a dispute during which a woman threatened him with a knife, and a man shot him.

Police identified Marselle Desbordes, 22, and Abigail Quirindongo, 19, both from Manchester, as suspects in the case.

The individuals involved were known to each other.

After warrants were issued, Desbordes and Quirindongo turned themselves in to the Manchester Police on the evening of Jan. 25.

Desbordes has been charged with two counts of first-degree assault, while Quirindongo faces charges of attempted first-degree assault and criminal threatening with a deadly weapon.

Both suspects were held on preventative detention and are scheduled for arraignment in Manchester District Court on Jan. 29.
