KIRBY — A single-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning on US Route 2 near Severance Hill Road left a Concord man with life-threatening injuries, according to the Vermont State Police.
At approximately 7:27 a.m., troopers were called to the scene where they found that Kevin Reil, 42, had lost control of his 2015 Toyota Camry.
The vehicle skidded on the snow and ice-covered road, causing Reil to be ejected from the car.
Reil, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, was initially taken to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) and later transferred to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) for further medical attention.
His vehicle sustained total damage.
The ongoing investigation is urging witnesses or those with information to come forward.
