LONDONDERRY — At about 6:15 p.m. on Jan. 27, Vermont State Police responded to a report of a death at the Magic Mountain Ski Area.
The man, a 60-year-old from southern Vermont, was snowshoeing with others when he suffered a medical issue and collapsed.
Despite immediate life-saving attempts by fellow snowshoers and the ski patrol, the man was pronounced dead at the scene by local emergency medical services.
Authorities are withholding the man’s identity until family members have been notified.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and no additional details have been released.
