Newport woman arrested for disorderly conduct, damage to vehicle

NEWPORT — Vermont State Police took Amanda Roberge, 37, of Newport Town, into custody late Thursday night on charges of disorderly conduct and unlawful mischief.

Authorities responded to a call on Vance Hill Road at approximately 10:52 p.m. where they found Roberge allegedly causing a disturbance and damaging a vehicle.

Following the investigation, police arrested Roberge, who was then processed at the Derby Barracks.

Roberge is currently being held at the Northern State Correctional Facility after failing to post the required $200.00 bail.

The Vermont State Police have not released any information regarding the victim in accordance with policies on cases of sexual assault and domestic violence.
