ENOSBURG — Vermont State Police are investigating a retail theft that occurred at the Tractor Supply Co on Jay View Drive, where an unknown suspect stole a DeWalt electric chainsaw valued at $329.99.
Authorities were notified of the incident on Jan. 24 at about 4:12 p.m. The suspect reportedly left the store with the chainsaw without rendering payment.
Witnesses observed the individual entering a maroon Ford Escape and heading north on Water Tower Road following the theft.
State Police are now seeking the public’s help to identify the person responsible for the crime.

The investigation into the theft is actively ongoing.
