LOWELL — The Lowell Police Department intensified its search for a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred on Jan. 7.
Luis Morales, 23, of Lowell, is wanted on charges of firearm use in a felony, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, among other offenses.
Authorities have warned the public that Morales is considered armed and dangerous.
Morales is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.
The police urge anyone with information regarding Morales’ whereabouts to exercise caution and immediately contact the Lowell Police Department at 978-937-3200.
The Lowell Police have not released further details of the shooting in January, citing the ongoing investigation, but they are appealing to the community for assistance to locate Morales.
