NEWPORT — In a commanding performance on Saturday, the Kingdom Blades triumphed over Hartford with a decisive 4-0 win at home.
Ella Blaise led the charge with a hat trick, contributing three goals to the Blades’ victory.
The game saw an impressive defensive effort from the Blades, with Taylor Blaise making 17 key saves and securing her seventh shutout of the season.
The Blades’ offense was further bolstered by Izzy Gaudreau, who scored a crucial short-handed goal, while teammates Randi Fortin and Gaby Griffith each added an assist.
With this win, the Blades improve their record to 10-0, while Hartford drops to 10-2.
Looking ahead, the Blades will take their winning momentum on the road as they face off against Woodstock on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at 6:10 p.m.
