EVERETT — Police in Everett, with assistance from the Chelsea Police Narcotics Unit and the Everett Police Operations Division, conducted a successful drug bust this morning after executing a search warrant in the city.
During the operation, authorities confiscated several packages of alleged crack cocaine with a combined weight of about 10 grams, roughly 1 pound of marijuana, two digital scales, and $3,000 in U.S. currency.
The search warrant’s execution is part of an ongoing effort to combat drug-related activities within the region.
A male suspect was apprehended at the scene and is facing charges related to the possession with the intent to distribute class B crack cocaine and class D marijuana.
The Everett Police Special Criminal Investigations Unit is leading the investigation, and further details are expected to be released as the case progresses.
The suspect’s identity has not been disclosed pending arraignment.
