CAMBRIDGE — In a call to action, Cambridge Police Department has requested public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery that took place at a local business in CambridgeSide on Sept. 22.
According to authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. when an individual approached a cash register, brandishing a knife, and demanded money from an employee.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene and was last observed running toward Land Boulevard.
The Cambridge Police Department has released photos of the person in question and is urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.
The department’s detectives are actively investigating the case and are hopeful that tips from the community will lead to a swift arrest.
