NEWPORT — The North Country Chamber of Commerce has released its Legislative Breakfast Schedule for the coming year, offering both virtual and in-person options for community engagement.
Starting on Jan. 29, the series will kick off with a general discussion open to all legislators at the Eastside Restaurant from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. The event, sponsored by NCDD, is the first of a set of meetings that will run through May.
The breakfasts provide a platform for local legislators to present on various topics, with the February 19 session featuring Senator Robert Starr and Representatives David Templeman and Mark Higley.
Subsequent meetings will include other area legislators, with Senator Russ Ingalls and Representative Katherine Sims presenting on March 11, and a group including Senator Starr, Representative Michael Marcotte, and Representative Larry Labor on April 1.
On April 22, Senator Ingalls will return alongside Representatives Woodman Page and Brian Smith for a session sponsored by the Orleans County Board of Realtors.
The series will conclude on May 13 with another general discussion open to all legislators.
Each session will be accessible via Zoom, recorded, and available on YouTube, making it convenient for community members to participate or watch at a later time.
