EVERETT — An undercover investigation by the Special Criminal Investigations Unit, with assistance from Patrol Operations, culminated in the arrest of a male suspect on Thursday evening, according to the Everett Police Department.
The efforts of law enforcement led to the seizure of approximately 50 grams of what is believed to be Fentanyl and 17 grams of suspected Cocaine.
Alongside the drugs, investigators also confiscated $620 in cash, suspected to be proceeds from drug sales, and two cellular telephones.
The suspect, whose name has not been released pending formal charges, is set to face multiple drug-related offenses.
The charges include distribution of Class A Fentanyl, trafficking in Fentanyl over 36 grams, and possession of Cocaine with the intent to distribute.
The Everett Police Department stated that the investigation is ongoing, and further details will be released as they become available.
