SWANTON — A local man was issued a citation for violating a No Stalking Order after a confrontation on County Road, police said.
Vermont State Police reported that at approximately 1:33 p.m. on Jan. 10, they were called to a business in Swanton following a report of a No Stalking Order violation.
The subsequent investigation identified 56-year-old Randy Livingston of Swanton as the accused.
Livingston allegedly violated the conditions of an active No Stalking Order during an incident involving Ralph Giroux Jr., 33, of Franklin.
Following the confrontation, law enforcement officials served Livingston with a citation.
He is scheduled to appear before the Franklin County Superior Court on Feb. 10 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charge.
The Vermont State Police did not release further details about the incident.
