SALEM — A fugitive wanted on numerous charges in New Hampshire has been arrested in Florida and extradited back to face justice.
The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office announced that Cory Spencer, who had several outstanding warrants issued by the Rockingham Superior Court, was located and apprehended in Panama City Beach, Florida, with the help of local law enforcement.
Deputy Krieger of the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office – Warrants Division led the effort to track down Spencer, eventually discovering that he had fled to Florida.
Officer Davis of the Panama City Beach Police Department assisted in taking Spencer into custody where he was charged as a Fugitive from Justice.
Following his arrest in Florida, Spencer was extradited back to New Hampshire and booked into the Rockingham County Jail on the charges from Rockingham Superior Court.
He also faced additional warrants from the Strafford Superior Court, Merrimack Superior Court, Portsmouth District Court, and Dover Family Court.
Spencer appeared in court on Tuesday, Jan. 2, where a judge set his cash bail at $67,976.00.
As of the time of the release, he remains incarcerated at the Rockingham County Jail.
