PITTSFIELD — Vermont State Police officers from the Rutland barracks apprehended Paul E.
Sweeney, a 54-year-old resident of Hopkinton, Massachusetts, on an active extraditable arrest warrant.
Sweeney was located at a residence on 194 Silver Spring Hill Rd in Pittsfield and was taken into custody as a Fugitive from Justice without any incident.
The arrest warrant originated from Hopkinton, MA, where Sweeney was sought by law enforcement.
Following the arrest, Sweeney was lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Center pending further legal proceedings.
