BRATTLEBORO — A 41-year-old man was arrested Saturday after causing a disturbance at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital, according to local police.
Brandon C. Bane was taken into custody following an incident on Jan. 5 where he reportedly threatened a nurse, used verbal aggression, and created a disturbance that impacted both staff and patients at the hospital.
Brattleboro Police Department officers responded to the call and learned that Bane had been removed from the hospital campus.
The subsequent investigation led to locating Bane at a different location the following day.
During his transport and processing, Bane allegedly used racial slurs towards an officer.
He has been charged with disorderly conduct and criminal threatening.
Bane was held at Southern State Correctional Facility on $50 bail and is set to appear in Windham County Superior Court on Jan. 8.
