ORANGE — A single-vehicle crash on US Route 302 led to the arrest of a local man on suspicion of driving under the influence Thursday evening.
State Troopers from the Berlin Barracks were called to the scene near Prechtl Road at 7:25 p.m., where they found a vehicle lodged in a ditch.
Upon interacting with the driver, 20-year-old Ian Holmgren of Orange, officers noted signs of impairment.
Holmgren was taken into custody and transported to the State Police Berlin Barracks for processing.
He was later issued a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court – Criminal Division on DUI charges and released.
