MEDFORD — Police are investigating an assault that occurred at a local Wegmans on Dec. 31, when an unknown male suspect attacked a customer around 11:35 a.m.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, reportedly got into an argument with a female before the assault.
The suspect, described as a black male dressed in dark clothing and a green camouflage ski mask, was accompanied by a second female associate.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the suspects or the incident to contact Detective Thomas Mattos at 781-391-6767 ext. 3245.
The police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify those involved in the confrontation and subsequent assault.
