QUINCY — Quincy police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing juvenile who was reported missing by his guardian on Jan. 3.
The youth was dropped off at Quincy High School by his guardian at 7:35 a.m. He was confirmed to be present at the school but appears to have left prior to the guardian arriving to pick him up.
The missing juvenile was last seen wearing a blue Quincy High School crew neck sweater, a black jacket, black sweatpants, purple and black Jordan sneakers, and carrying a black and red backpack.
Authorities have noted that the teen is known to frequent local establishments such as McDonald’s and the YMCA.
However, the guardian believes he may have traveled to the Boston area.
The Quincy Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the missing juvenile to contact their Communications Division at 617-479-1212.
Police and family members are concerned for his well-being and are seeking assistance to ensure his safe return.
