Newport raffle winners announced at St. Mary’s Christmas Eve Mass

NEWPORT — The Knights of Columbus Christmas Charity Raffle culminated with the drawing of grand prizes at the conclusion of the Christmas Eve 4 p.m. Mass at St. Mary Star of the Sea.

The first $500 prize, donated by Nadeau’s Plumbing and Heating, was drawn by Nicole Nadeau. Gilles Nadeau was announced as the fortunate winner. Nadeau’s was recognized for its unwavering support and long-standing commitment to the Knights of Columbus.

Steve and Carmen Vincent’s generous donation also resulted in a $500 prize, with Brother Fred Barker selecting the winning ticket. Christian Goulet emerged as the lucky recipient of the second prize.

The third $500 prize, donated by an anonymous supporter of the Knights of Columbus, was drawn by Brother Denis Comeau. Brian Giddry was congratulated as the winner.

Additionally, two exceptional $1,000 prizes, also donated anonymously by a supporter of the Knights of Columbus, were won by Don Vanasse and Susan Rivard. Brother Daniel Poutre and Fr. Rijo Johnson had the honor of drawing these winners.

The raffle’s success ensures that the charitable mission of the Knights of Columbus will continue into the next year. The organization extended a Merry Christmas and expressed gratitude for the extraordinary support received.
