ST. JOHNSBURY — Troopers from the Vermont State Police – St. Johnsbury Barracks apprehended a man early Christmas morning on an outstanding warrant for his involvement in grand larceny and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
At 12:51 a.m. on Dec. 25, law enforcement officials conducted a traffic stop on US-5 near Breezy Hill Rd. after noticing a vehicle violation.
The driver, identified as 44-year-old Adam Hale from West Burke, was found to have an active in-state warrant for accessory aiding in the commission of grand larceny and contributing to delinquency under 16 years of age.
Hale was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Northeast Correctional Complex.
He is being held on $500 bail pending further judicial proceedings.
