BERLIN — A routine traffic stop turned into an arrest for a 42-year-old Tunbridge woman wanted on several warrants, Vermont State Police reported.
At 9:54 a.m. Saturday, troopers pulled over Tiffany Tessier’s vehicle on Interstate 89 north near mile marker 47 for a minor traffic violation.
During the stop, authorities discovered that Tessier was wanted on an arrest warrant from New Hampshire for possession of cocaine and another warrant in Vermont for probation violation.
Tessier was taken into custody without incident and is being held on $25,000 bail as a fugitive from justice.
Her arraignment is pending, and further details about the court proceedings have not been released.
