MANCHESTER — A pedestrian was critically injured in a traffic accident involving a motor vehicle at the intersection of Bridge and Chestnut Streets on Dec. 20 at approximately 8:25 p.m., according to Manchester Police.
Officers responded to the scene where they found a Honda Civic and its 65-year-old female driver, who was not injured, outside the vehicle.
A 38-year-old man was discovered in the roadway with life-threatening injuries and was promptly transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The accident is currently under investigation by local authorities.
