RICHFORD — A 33-year-old Richford woman was arrested on charges of domestic assault after police responded to a family fight at a local residence Monday night.
Vermont State Police were dispatched to 49 East Richford Slide Road at 9:05 p.m., where they found that Anne Murphy had allegedly assaulted two members of her household.
Murphy was taken into custody and processed at the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks.
Following the incident, Murphy was released on a citation with conditions of release pending her appearance in court to answer to the charges.
The Vermont State Police did not release the names of the victims, adhering to policies regarding incidents of domestic violence.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the altercation is ongoing.
