ORLEANS — The Four Seasons Garden Club brought holiday cheer to Maple Lane Nursing Home on December 5, with a special event focused on creating holiday centerpieces. Members and guests of the club gathered to craft swags, wreaths, garlands, and centerpieces, infusing the atmosphere with holiday music and the scents of balsam and pine.
The festive gathering, held at the Orleans Federated Church, provided an opportunity for members to learn and practice making hand-made bows while enjoying a morning of creativity and camaraderie. Following the crafting session, participants shared in a delightful potluck prepared by club volunteers and then held their monthly meeting.
This annual event, known for its uplifting and inspiring atmosphere, is part of the club’s commitment to community service and bringing joy to local residents. The Four Seasons Garden Club expressed gratitude to the Orleans Federated Church for hosting the event.
The club extends an invitation to those interested in staying active, learning new skills, giving back to the community, making friends, and enjoying time in nature to consider joining the Four Seasons Garden Club.
