WAITSFIELD — Vermont State Police are investigating a petit larceny incident that occurred at the local Ace Hardware store.
Authorities report that an unidentified male suspect entered the store on Dec. 13 at about 5:30 p.m.
The individual is accused of stealing a DeWalt chainsaw, a pistol style BeeBee gun, BeeBees, and a pair of socks, and then leaving the premises without payment through a side door.
The incident was reported to the Vermont State Police the following day at 12:07 p.m. by Ace Hardware staff.
State Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
