WORCESTER — Worcester Police Department’s Vice Squad, with assistance from the Gang Unit and Boylston Police Department, executed a search warrant on Dec. 13, leading to the arrest of two individuals on multiple drug-related charges.
The operation targeted a residence on Country Club Boulevard, where officers detained 28-year-old Steven Cancu and 26-year-old Linda Mojica.
Cancu was charged with distribution of a Class B substance, cocaine, and three counts of conspiracy to violate drug laws.
Mojica faces three counts each of distribution of cocaine, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and an additional charge of possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute, identified as Suboxone.
The arrests are part of ongoing efforts by Worcester police to combat drug trafficking and distribution in the community.
Both suspects were taken into custody without incident, and the case remains under investigation.
