NEWPORT — A Derby man was cited for driving with a suspended license after being spotted by Vermont State Police on Main Street on Dec. 7.
Steven Lontine, 59, was observed operating a motor vehicle at around 6:15 p.m. while police were on patrol.
An investigation revealed that Lontine was in violation of active conditions that prohibit him from driving without a valid driver’s license.
Police determined that Lontine’s license was criminally suspended.
He was subsequently cited for Conditions of Release Violation and Criminal Driving with a License Suspended (DLS).
The accused is scheduled to appear in court to face the charges.
