BRIDGEWATER — A severe two-vehicle collision on Dec. 8 at around 6:46 p.m. resulted in major injuries and vehicle damage, according to the Vermont State Police.

The crash occurred on US Route 4 near Mountain Side Road when a 2007 Toyota Camry, driven by 28-year-old Asa Amirkaiee of Bridgewater, collided head-on with a 2022 PCKP RPAF1466N operated by Christina M. Pruden, 37, of Claremont, NH.

Witnesses reported that Amirkaiee was speeding and passing other vehicles on a double yellow line before entering the eastbound lane and crashing into Pruden’s vehicle.
