NASHUA — A Nashua woman was arrested Monday for allegedly threatening someone with a firearm near a local school, according to police.
The Nashua Police Department took 37-year-old Jenitza Miranda Parrilla into custody on a charge of felony criminal threatening with a firearm after officers responded to a disturbance near Ledge Street School on Dec. 11 at 2:17 p.m.
Authorities said they received reports of a woman waving a firearm in the air and threatening another individual.
Upon arrival, officers found Parrilla in the vicinity with a visible firearm and detained her.
During the investigation, detectives confirmed that Parrilla was the individual involved in the incident.
It was also determined that Parrilla and the victim had known each other from previous interactions.
Parrilla was released on $300 cash bail and is scheduled to appear before the Hillsborough County Superior Court – Southern District on Jan. 11 at 1 p.m.
