MILTON — A man forcibly stole a cash register containing a large sum of money from the Short Stop gas station on US Route 7 on the morning of Dec. 8, according to the Milton Police Department.
Authorities reported that the suspect left the scene on a bicycle.
The incident, which occurred without the display or threat of weapons, did not result in any injuries.
Milton Police officers arrived within minutes of the report but did not find the suspect at the scene or in the surrounding area.
The Colchester Police Department’s K9 Team joined the search efforts to locate the man responsible for the larceny.
The Milton Police Department has released videos of the suspect and is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying him.
