CLAREMONT — Responding to a welfare check on Stewart Ave, Claremont Emergency Services discovered two individuals deceased in a residence on Dec. 6.
The Claremont Police Department, alongside the State Fire Marshal’s Office, is conducting an investigation into the causes and manners of the deaths.
Although the investigation is ongoing, officials have stated that the circumstances surrounding the deaths do not appear to be suspicious.
Authorities have assured the public that there is no perceived threat in relation to the incident.
As the investigation continues, the causes of death are yet to be determined.
Detective Richard Bell of the Claremont Police Department is leading the inquiry.
The department is urging anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
