ST. JOHNSBURY — A hit-and-run incident occurred in the parking lot of the Comfort Inn & Suites this morning, leaving a black 2012 Chevrolet Camaro with significant damage.
Vermont State Police report that the vehicle, belonging to 36-year-old Justin Hoffman of Holloway, Ohio, was struck by an unidentified vehicle around 1:45 a.m.
The suspect vehicle fled the scene before authorities arrived.
Police are now calling for witnesses or anyone with information about the incident or the fleeing vehicle to come forward.
Trooper Pearson from the St. Johnsbury Barracks is handling the investigation and can be reached for tips.
No description of the suspect vehicle or its driver has been released at this time.
