NEWFANE — Vermont State Police have cited a local couple on charges of child neglect and contributing to the delinquency of a minor on Feb. 10.
After receiving a report concerning the welfare of a child, authorities launched an investigation which led to the charges against Adam M. Matyas, 47, and Jessica G. Spinella, 40, both residents of Newfane.
The specific details of the neglect were not released to protect the identity of the minor involved.
Matyas and Spinella have been ordered to appear before the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, to respond to the allegations.
