BRADFORD — A New Hampshire man was arrested Sunday evening after driving onto a farm field and becoming stuck in the mud, according to Vermont State Police.
At approximately 5:31 p.m. on Dec. 3, police received reports of a vehicle that had left US Route 5 and was lodged against a farm fence a mile off the road, stuck in the field.
Authorities identified the driver as Christopher Dellacioppa, 41, of Troy, New Hampshire.
Upon making contact, police observed signs of impairment.
Dellacioppa was not known to the landowners and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of DUI drug and unlawful trespass.
Dellacioppa was transported to the St. Johnsbury State Police barracks for processing and later released to the Northeast Correctional Facility in St. Johnsbury.
