Ryegate woman arrested for DUI, drug possession in Barnet

BARNET — In the early hours of Feb. 12, Vermont State Police arrested 38-year-old Ryegate resident Randi Perry on charges of driving under the influence and possession of narcotics and regulated drugs.

Troopers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Barnet Road and found Perry unconscious in a car that was in drive and positioned dangerously at the edge of a downhill intersection.

Authorities managed to remove her from the vehicle without incident.

Upon regaining consciousness, Perry exhibited signs of impairment.

She failed sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of DUI-Drugs.

A search revealed Perry was also carrying illegal drugs.

After her arrest, Perry was processed at the St. Johnsbury Barracks and released.
