HUDSON –– In Hudson, a domestic violence incident has led to the arrest of 31-year-old Joseph King, who is currently homeless.

Early Saturday morning, Hudson police responded to a disturbance on Greenfield Drive.

King, the accused, allegedly broke into his girlfriend’s home after an argument and a subsequent encounter with Pelham police for walking under the influence on the roadway.

Following his release, King is said to have returned, shoved his girlfriend, and attempted to steal money from her purse.

During the altercation, he reportedly struck her and fled, only to be apprehended nearby.

Authorities revealed that King was in violation of a Domestic Violence Protective Order from April.

Charged with burglary, robbery, domestic violence, simple assault with injury, and breach of bail, King is currently at Valley Street jail in Manchester, with an arraignment set for Monday.

This incident follows King’s history with drug possession charges, the most recent being in August.
