WINDSOR — In the early hours of Dec. 1, Vermont State Police apprehended 33-year-old Gage T.
Garr of Bethel following a routine traffic stop on I-91 near mile marker 57.
Troopers from the Westminster Barracks, conducting traffic surveillance, pulled over Garr for a motor vehicle violation.
Upon identification, it was determined that Garr was in breach of his conditions of release and also in unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Garr was taken into custody and processed at the Westminster Barracks.
Unable to post the required $200 bail, he was subsequently lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility.
He is scheduled to appear before the Vermont Superior Court Windsor Criminal Division later today at 12:30 p.m.
