PORTSMOUTH — Patrol units were dispatched to Walmart on Lafayette Road on Nov. 24 after a report of a theft involving multiple pieces of merchandise during the busy Black Friday shopping rush.
The Portsmouth Police Department is now reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying the individuals involved in the incident.
Images and descriptions of the persons of interest have been circulated with hopes that public recognition will aid in their apprehension.
The police have not disclosed the value or nature of the merchandise stolen.
They are continuing to investigate the theft and are reviewing surveillance footage from the store and surrounding areas.
