AVON — Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Keith McKechnie, a 45-year-old Avon resident who has been missing since Sept. 7.
McKechnie left his home on E. High St. and has not been seen since.
Described as a Caucasian male, he stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 275 pounds.
He is recognizable by his distinct waist-length brown and gray dreadlocks and a full brown and gray beard.
Known for wearing tie-dyed t-shirts, McKechnie has a history of health challenges and may be resistant to being approached, his family reports.
Since McKechnie’s disappearance, Avon investigators have collaborated with several agencies in an extensive search.
