ROCKINGHAM — A New Hampshire woman was arrested Tuesday for allegedly driving nearly double the posted speed limit on Rockingham Rd.
Sgt. Norton of the Windham County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Charlene E. Lambert, 34, of Clarksville, New Hampshire, was cited for excessive speed after she was clocked traveling at 92 mph in a 50 mph zone at about 12:17 p.m. on Nov. 21.
Lambert was released with a citation to appear in Windham Superior Court, Criminal Division, on a later date.
In addition to the criminal charge, she received a traffic ticket for the civil speeding violation.
