RUTLAND — After a thorough investigation, Vermont State Police have arrested Harry StCyr, 45, of Hubbardton, in connection with an assault and robbery at the Rutland Town Sunoco gas station.
The incident occurred at the Sunoco located at 117 US Route 7.
StCyr is accused of assaulting an employee and stealing an undisclosed amount of cash and goods.
Following the development of probable cause, law enforcement officials were able to apprehend StCyr without further incident.
StCyr has been lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Facility.
He is scheduled to appear in court to respond to the charges at a date and time yet to be determined.
The Vermont State Police have not released additional details about the robbery or the condition of the victim.
The investigation into the incident continues.
