BOSTON — Boston Police Department officers apprehended a suspect from their Most Wanted List in connection with several outstanding warrants on Tuesday, officials said.
Giovannie Cordova, 20, of Hyde Park, was arrested at approximately 12:43 p.m. in the vicinity of 13 Westcott Street by officers from District B-3 in Mattapan.
Cordova faced warrants issued by the Boston Municipal Court relating to charges that include unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, assault with a dangerous weapon, and two counts of property destruction.
The arrest followed Cordova being prominently featured on the BPD Most Wanted List.
He is slated to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
The specific date for his arraignment has not yet been disclosed.
