ORLEANS –– The Orleans Parent Teacher Community Association (PTCA) brought together students and families for an evening of fun and community bonding on Wednesday. The event, which saw participation from over half of the school community, offered a range of activities from pumpkin carving and painting to apple cider churning.

Attendees enjoyed Neapolitan pizza, freshly baked on-site, as they engaged in the festivities. The event’s success was attributed to the collective effort of various contributors, including Green Mountain Farm to School, Travis Terrell, Josh Webber, Marie Ingalls, Shannon Laliberty, Megan Valley, Landon McIntosh, Cheyanne Stone, Mackenzie Quiles, Bianca Davis, Ben Choquette, Great Vermont Corn Maze, River of Life Corn Maze, and Kingdom Corn Maze.

Expressing gratitude, the PTCA stated, “We would like to send out a warm, heartfelt thank-you to everyone in the community who came out to make this event such a success.” Enthusiastic about the turnout, the association expressed hope in seeing the event return in future years with equal or greater participation.

Community members are reminded of the upcoming Orleans Village tree lighting ceremony set for November 26 at the Orleans Fire Station.
