Boston police seek public’s help to identify suspects in East Boston attempted kidnapping

BOSTON –– Detectives from the Boston Police Department’s District A-7 are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals connected to an attempted kidnapping and robbery that occurred on Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 155 Meridian Street in East Boston.

The department is actively investigating the details of the incident and is urging anyone with information to contact the District A-7 detectives at 617-343-4234.

In an effort to encourage community participation, the Boston Police Department assures that the identities of those who provide help anonymously will be protected.

Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1 (800) 494-TIPS or by texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).

The police have released images of the individuals in question and are hopeful that public cooperation will lead to a swift resolution of the case.
